Northrop /later Northrop Grumman/ B-2 Spirit is a flying wing stealth bomber, developed in the 1980s and still in use today. Produced in very limited numbers, the B-2 relies on its stealth qualities and excellent technologies to be self-sustainable and highly-reliable bomber, capable of surprising its enemies all around the World undetected and in practically any weather conditions with minimum risk to its crew.
B-2 is operated mostly from its US locations, with its typical missions usually being longer than 20 hours, sometimes going up to 40, thanks to its ability to stay airborne because of its refueling probe and excellent crew accommodation. The design of the B-2 dates back to the WWII, when both Horten and Grumman worked on flying wing technologies, resulting in B-2 half a century later. The successor of the B-2 Spirit is called B-21 Raider and it is planned to be in similar shape, but slightly different in size, proving that the flying wing design is far from exploited and has promising future.
Rhino Red Prints drawings are vector file bundles designed to serve the basic needs of various sectors. 3D designers, Publishers, Decal Makers, RC and Plastic Model Makers often need profile or top views and even sometimes combination of those, featuring different aircraft. Such drawings take time and effort to be completed. Red Rhino Prints drawings are made to be very close to reality, but does not represent absolutely accurate blueprints of the vehicles depicted. The blueprints in the form of file bundle are in 48th scale and are close to reality, but there might be discrepancies with the real vehicles depicted.
