McDonnell Douglas F-4B Phantom II is a twin-seat, twin-jet all-weather carrier-based fighter and ground-attack aircraft used by the US NAVY and Marine Corps. It is one of the initial mass produced variants of the Phantom. The F-4B features J79-GE-8A or -8B engines with 16,950 lbf (75.4 kN) of afterburner thrust each. Total of 649 F-4B were built out of more than 5100 Phantoms ever produced. The B-variant was superseded by F-4J and later on by the F-4S variants of the famous jet.
McDonnell Douglas F-4B Phantom II variant saw combat mostly in Vietnam. However other variants of the F-4 Phantom are still in use today and during their fabulous career saw combat in every major conflict since the 1960s. The F-4B was one of the first versions, however many others were to follow. Constant improvement led to semi-glass cockpit, improved electronics, newer weapons delivery systems, partial digitalization and much more.
Rhino Red Prints drawings are vector file bundles designed to serve the basic needs of various sectors. 3D designers, Publishers, Decal Makers, RC and Plastic Model Makers often need profile or top views and even sometimes combination of those, featuring different aircraft. Such drawings take time and effort to be completed. Red Rhino Prints drawings are made to be very close to reality, but does not represent absolutely accurate blueprints of the vehicles depicted. The blueprints in the form of file bundle are in 48th scale and are close to reality, but there might be discrepancies with the real vehicles depicted.
