Lockheed Martin F-35C Lightning II is an American single-engine fifth generation carrier-based stealth plane. It is the first manned aircraft with stealth technology to enter service in the US NAVY. It is a fighter jet used for air superiority and strike missions, but can also provide electronic warfare and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance. It first entered service in 2019 and it is expected to serve up until the late 2060s or even 2070s. Alongside with the F/A-18 Super Hornet it forms the backbone of the modern US Naval aviation.
Lockheed Martin F-35C Lightning II is one of the three options of the 5th generation platform made by the company, that will cover the needs for single-engine jet fighter of the near future. The other two are the conventional F-35A and the STOVL F-35B, both already in service. Out of the three options, the F-35C is the only one that will remain only in the US inventory, unlike the A and B variants which are already sold abroad and used by various air forces. F-35C features larger wing compared to the other two and all the necessary alterations so to be used from an aircraft carrier. That includes stronger landing gear, arresting hook and others.
Rhino Red Prints drawings are vector file bundles designed to serve the basic needs of various sectors. 3D designers, Publishers, Decal Makers, RC and Plastic Model Makers often need profile or top views and even sometimes combination of those, featuring different aircraft. Such drawings take time and effort to be completed. Red Rhino Prints drawings are made to be very close to reality, but does not represent absolutely accurate blueprints of the vehicles depicted. The blueprints in the form of file bundle are in 48th scale and are close to reality, but there might be discrepancies with the real vehicles depicted.
