Lockheed Martin F-22A Raptor is a 5th generation stealth fighter made in the USA. Less than 200 were produced. F-22A is currently in service with no planned retirement. Being the ultimate air-to-air defence platform, the Raptor is eventually to be substituted by some 6th generation fighter jet platform. In addition to F-35 and its sub-variants, as well as B-2 and B-21, Raptor is part of the Stealth backbone of the United States Air Force.
Lockheed Martin F-22A Raptor won the fly-off between its prototype and YF-23 back in the 90s. That led to the development of the YF-22 into F-22A, which became the very first operational fifth generation jet fighter in the World. While currently China and Russia show their own so-called fifth generation jet fighters, none of those have proven full 5th gen capabilities even remotely close to what F-22A has to offer. Despite several attempts from various countries to acquire F-22 for their own air forces, the Raptor remains a privilege solely of the USAF.
Rhino Red Prints drawings are vector file bundles designed to serve the basic needs of various sectors. 3D designers, Publishers, Decal Makers, RC and Plastic Model Makers often need profile or top views and even sometimes combination of those, featuring different aircraft. Such drawings take time and effort to be completed. Red Rhino Prints drawings are made to be very close to reality, but does not represent absolutely accurate blueprints of the vehicles depicted. The blueprints in the form of file bundle are in 48th scale and are close to reality, but there might be discrepancies with the real vehicles depicted.
