Boeing F/A-18C Hornet is the first generation of the Hornet family, initially produced by McDonnell Douglas /later on by Boeing/ and currently known as “Legacy Hornet”. The Hornet is slightly smaller compared to the Super Hornet and features obsolete equipment compared to its successor. Legacy Hornet currently is going out of service, with US Marines still having the plane in use and US NAVY completely retired it. Legacy Hornet is still in use with foreign Air Forces around the World.
Hornet is available as a single seater – F/A-18A/C /featured in this file bundle/ – as well as a dual seater. Latter one is represented by F/A-18B or F/A-18D. F/A-18A, B, C and D was US NAVY’s Demo team Blue Angels main airplane for a very long period – from 1986 till 2020. Starting with season 2021 it was replaced by F/A-18E/F Super Hornet.
Rhino Red Prints drawings are vector file bundles designed to serve the basic needs of various sectors. 3D designers, Publishers, Decal Makers, RC and Plastic Model Makers often need profile or top views and even sometimes combination of those, featuring different aircraft. Such drawings take time and effort to be completed. Red Rhino Prints drawings are made to be very close to reality, but does not represent absolutely accurate blueprints of the vehicles depicted. The blueprints in the form of file bundle are in 48th scale and are close to reality, but there might be discrepancies with the real vehicles depicted.
